Style analysis (David Gandy's Shap shot)

The Vibe
London Fashion Week, model/race car driver David Gandy spent the day being—in the Zoolander sense—really, really, awesome good looking. His strategy? Going full-on British gentleman.

The Suit
It's a perfectly-cut of three-piece number. But beyond having a sound tailor, you need to know how to wear it. Follow Gandy's lead: Never fasten the bottom button of the vest—otherwise, you'll look like a n00b.

The Shirt
Grey suit need bold shirts to survive. Gandy takes it there with this pinstriped affair and throws in some old school vibes with a collar pin. This keeps his style ultra pure in a '60s Mad Men kinda way.

The Tie
No much idea what kind of fabric that is (perhaps donegal wool?), but it's sweet. The flecked texture adds even more variation and punch to what could have been a tame look.

The Accessories
Badass Accessories Lesson No. 54: Wear a clashing pocket square and Persol sunglasses at the same time. Since Gandy's a freakin' race car driver, he can't look too clean cut whoa.

The socks
They're a fine navy and white horizontal stripe which mirrors his shirt and did justice to the shoe.

The Shoes
The double monk-strap shoes pictured here are Gandy's version of a Mortal Kombat fatality finishing move. This ultra luxe, mahogany pair is what makes his look superb.
